Job summary

Holiday Inn Dubai Al Maktoum is looking for a General Technician to join the Engineering team in Dubai. The role covers maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces, with a focus on safety, reliability, and prompt problem solving.

You will work independently across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing tasks in a live guest environment, contributing to a well‑organized department and continuous hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or trade certification in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing fields.
• Hands-on maintenance experience in hotel or commercial settings preferred.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to issues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed during all repair work.
