Job summary

Rixos Al Mairid is seeking a skilled Duty Electrical Technician to join our Engineering team, ensuring reliable operation of hotel electrical systems and guest-safe service. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to technical issues, support emergency procedures, and collaborate across departments to uphold Rixos standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems across the hotel complex.
• Ensure all electrical works meet high professional and safety standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and installations.
• Support emergency procedures and ISO standards compliance.
• Maintain workshop inventory and ensure proper stock control of materials.
• Adhere to Rixos Policies & Procedures and ISO standards (Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, Food Safety).
• Contribute to energy-saving and sustainability initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with all departments to support smooth hotel operations.
• Participate in task force assignments and support special projects when required.
