Job summary

Penspen Ltd in Abu Dhabi is urgently seeking a Sr. Construction/Installation Engineer (Structure - Jackets/WHTs) to lead offshore jacket fabrication, load-out, transportation, lifting and installation on an Offshore PMC project.

The role requires a degree in engineering and 15+ years of offshore experience, with strong emphasis on jacket construction, installation and WHT works; PMC/EPC background preferred and ADNOC Offshore experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in offshore projects.
• Proven experience in offshore structural construction and installation.
• Experience with jackets and wellhead towers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and field execution support for fabrication, load-out, transportation, lifting, offshore installation, hook-up and completion of offshore structural facilities.
• Ensure installation activities are performed safely, efficiently and per approved engineering documents and project schedule.
• Coordinate interfaces between Engineering, Fabrication, Marine, Offshore Construction, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Subcontractors, Vendors and Client representatives.
• Supervise jacket fabrication and assembly activities and review fabrication sequences and erection methodologies.
• Provide engineering support for WHT fabrication and installation and coordinate assembly of WHT components.

Penspen is urgently looking to hire for Sr. Construction /Installation Engineer - (Structure - Jackets/WHT's)for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi.

Qualification Required

• The candidates should have bachelor's degree of engineering in relevant discipline from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing technical and field execution support for the fabrication, load-out, transportation, lifting, offshore installation, hook-up and completion of offshore structural facilities, primarily jackets and wellhead towers.
• Ensures that structural construction and installation activities are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved engineering documents, installation methodologies, project specifications, applicable codes and standards, and the project schedule.
• Provides the interface between Engineering, Fabrication, Marine, Heavy Lift, Offshore Construction, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Subcontractors, Vendors and Client/Operator representatives, with particular focus on practical constructability and offshore installation execution.
• Provide senior technical support for structural construction and installation activities.
• Review structural construction drawings, fabrication drawings and installation documents.
• Develop and review construction/installation methodologies.
• Ensure installation methods are practical and aligned with available offshore equipment and vessels.
• Participate in constructability reviews.
• Identify potential construction constraints before offshore execution.
• Provide technical solutions for field installation issues.
• Coordinate engineering queries and technical clarifications.
• Ensure approved design changes are incorporated into construction activities.
• Supervise and provide engineering support for jacket fabrication and assembly.
• Review fabrication sequence and erection methodology.
• Ensure structural members are installed in accordance with approved drawings.
• Resolve fabrication and construction discrepancies.
• Provide construction engineering support for WHT fabrication and installation.
• Coordinate assembly and erection of WHT structural components.

Experience Required

• Minimum 15+ years of experience, with at least 5+ years significant in offshore project.
• Proven experience inexperience in offshore structural construction and installation withing offshore oil & gas construction projects
• Proven experience in fixed offshore jacket fabrication, load-out, transportation and offshore installation
• Proven experience with Wellhead Tower fabrication, installation, structural hook-up and associated offshore works is strongly preferred.
• Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Background.
• Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.
