Job summary

Penspen Ltd is urgently seeking a Sr. Manager Construction & Installation (Subsea Pipelines, Cables & Structures) for an Offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi.

The role leads subsea installation, marine ops, ROV/survey activities and interfaces with engineering, procurement and commissioning to deliver safe, on-time results. Ideal candidates have 20+ years, with 8–10+ in offshore projects, proven subsea pipeline/flowline installation and PMC/EPC background, preferably with ADNOC Offshore experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Focused on overall execution of subsea pipelines, subsea cables and structures within an offshore oil & gas project.
• Provide leadership and management of subsea construction and installation activities for offshore oil & gas projects.
• Plan, coordinate and execute installation of subsea pipelines, flowlines, cables, structures and offshore facilities to schedule and budget while ensuring quality.
• Lead across subsea installation engineering, vessels, marine operations, ROV/survey activities, campaigns, contractors, QA/QC, HSE and client interfaces.
• Define execution philosophy, installation sequence and campaign strategy; establish priorities in line with milestones.
• Ensure coordination between engineering, procurement, fabrication, marine, construction and commissioning.

Qualification Required

• The candidates should have bachelor's degree of engineering in relevant discipline from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Focused on overall execution of subsea pipelines, subsea cables and structures within an offshore oil & gas project.
• Responsible for providing overall leadership and management of subsea construction and installation activities for offshore oil & gas projects.
• Overall responsibility for planning, coordinating and executing the installation of subsea pipelines, flowlines, subsea cables, subsea structures and associated offshore facilities, ensuring that construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently, in accordance with approved engineering requirements, within the project schedule and budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Providesleadership across subsea installation engineering, construction vessels, marine operations, ROV/survey activities, offshore campaigns, contractors, subcontractors, engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning and client interfaces.
• Provide overall leadership for subsea pipeline, cable and structure installation.
• Establish and implement the subsea construction and installation strategy.
• Define execution philosophy, installation sequence and campaign strategy.
• Establish construction priorities in line with project milestones.
• Ensure effective coordination between engineering, procurement, fabrication, marine, construction and commissioning.
• Lead construction readiness and offshore campaign planning.
• Ensure adequate resources, vessels, equipment, personnel and materials are available.
• Provide senior-level direction for resolving construction and installation issues.
• Ensure execution remains aligned with approved project objectives.
• Lead execution of offshore pipeline and flowline installation.
• Oversee installation methodologies including S-lay, J-lay, reel-lay, tow-out or other project-specific methods.
• Lead installation of subsea power/control cables and umbilicals.
• Oversee cable route preparation and installation.

Experience Required

• Minimum 20+ years of experience, with at least 8 to 10+ years significant in offshore project.
• Proven experience in offshore oil & gas subsea construction and installation.
• Extensive experience in offshore pipeline and flowline installation, including installation campaigns, tie-ins, crossings, stabilization, trenching/burial and associated subsea works.
• Proven experience in subsea power/control cable and/or umbilical installation, pull-in, hang-off, protection, burial and termination interfaces.
• Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Background.
• Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.
