Job summary

Penspen Ltd is urgently hiring for a Lead Construction Engineer - Construction & Installation (Structure) for an offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering and 15+ years of experience, including significant offshore exposure.

Ideal candidates will lead structural construction activities, coordinate with fabrication and offshore teams, and ensure compliance with engineering documents and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience with at least 5–8+ years in offshore projects.
• PMC/EPC background preferred; ADNOC offshore experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, supervise and support structural fabrication, construction, installation, modification and completion activities for offshore oil & gas facilities.
• Ensure structural works are executed safely, on schedule, and per approved documents and client requirements.
• Act as principal structural construction interface among Engineering, Fabrication, Offshore Installation, HUP, Marine, Lifting, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Procurement, Vendors, Subcontractors and Client representatives.
• Lead structural construction engineering activities and provide direction to construction teams.
• Coordinate structural work fronts with fabrication and offshore installation teams and ensure compliance with docs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising and technically supporting the structural fabrication, construction, installation, modification and completion activities for offshore oil & gas facilities.
• Ensures that structural works are executed safely, efficiently, within schedule and in accordance with approved engineering documents, specifications, codes, project procedures and Client/Operator requirements.
• Acts as the principal structural construction interface between Engineering, Fabrication, Offshore Installation, HUP, Marine, Lifting, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Procurement, Vendors, Subcontractors and Client representatives.
• Lead structural construction engineering activities.
• Provide technical direction to structural construction teams.
• Coordinate structural work fronts with fabrication and offshore installation teams.
• Ensure construction activities follow approved engineering documents.
• Resolve field engineering and constructability issues.
• Coordinate structural execution with other disciplines.
• Support construction management in achieving project milestones.

Experience Required

• Minimum 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 to 8+ years significant in offshore project.
• Proven experience inin structural construction/installation
• Significant offshore structural installation experience.
• Experience with offshore platforms, jackets, topsides or modules
• Strong experience in structural fabrication and offshore installation
• Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Background.
• Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.
