Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai is seeking a commercially driven Specification / Business Development Executive to join our team. You will blend sales with a deep understanding of the specification process, engaging architects, consultants, developers, and contractors from early design stages.

You will position Tanqeeb's automation and smart building solutions within project specs, conduct presentations and meetings, and coordinate with technical and sales teams to propose optimal solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in UAE or GCC.
• Experience in building automation, motorized systems, shading, lighting controls or related project-based solutions.
• Strong ability to communicate with architects, consultants and contractors to influence specifications.
• Knowledge of how products are specified through design professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new project and business development opportunities in the UAE.
• Engage with stakeholders during concept and design/specification stages.
• Promote building automation and smart solutions in project specifications.
• Conduct product presentations and technical meetings for consultants and clients.
• Review drawings and project docs and follow sales cycle stages.
• Build a strong project pipeline and develop consultant and client relationships.
• Monitor market trends, upcoming projects and competitor activity.
• Support commercial team in converting projects into opportunities.
