Job summary

Client of RecruitMe Plus, based in Dubai, seeks a Specification Business Development Executive to drive project opportunities in the UAE’s building automation sector. You will engage architects and consultants from early design stages, promoting motorized and smart building solutions to be incorporated in project specifications.

The role requires a commercial mindset, 4–6 years of relevant experience, and the ability to develop new consultant and client relationships across the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of UAE or GCC market experience in business development or project sales.
• Experience engaging architects and consultants through the specification process.
• Exposure to building automation or smart building solutions is preferred.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to prospect new business.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new project and business opportunities across the UAE.
• Engage with stakeholders during concept and design specification stages.
• Promote motorized, automated, and smart building solutions in project specifications.
• Conduct presentations and solution demonstrations for consultants and clients.
• Coordinate with technical and sales teams to propose suitable solutions.
• Review drawings and project docs; drive sales cycle through stages.
• Build a strong project pipeline and nurture consultant and client relationships.
• Monitor market trends, upcoming projects, and competitor activity.
• Support commercial team in converting specified projects.
