Job summary

Met T&S in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified engineer to coordinate and review spare parts lists for large oil & gas EPC projects. You will collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to prepare, review, and present detailed spare parts documentation during stakeholder meetings.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities to ensure timely, accurate handovers to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction of large oil & gas plants / EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering and Vendor for spare parts list preparation and submission.
• Review spare parts list (SPIR, SPDP, etc.) across disciplines (electrical, mechanical, instrument).
• Prepare spare parts list status report and present at stakeholders meetings.
• Review engineering documents (PO, P&ID, GAD, BOM, Datasheets) to properly assess the spare parts list.
• Coordinate with vendors and engineering to ensure smooth spare parts review and approval.
• Resolve queries or deficiencies in spare parts documents identified by the company.
• Support handover to client for procured spare parts.

Duties and responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering and Vendor for the preparation and submission of the spare parts list document.
• Review spare parts list (SPIR, SPDP, etc.) thoroughly - multidiscipline (electrical, mechanical, instrument, etc.).
• Prepare spare parts list status report and present during stakeholders meeting
• Must be familiar with and know how to use and read different engineering documents such as PO, P&ID, GAD, BOM, Datasheets, etc., to properly review the spare parts list.
• Coordinate with different stakeholders (vendor, engineering, etc.) to have smooth spare parts review and approval.
• Resolve any queries or deficiencies in the spare parts document as identified by company.
• Support on the handover to client of spare parts that will be procured.

Knowledge & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any Engineering course.

Experience

• At least minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in construction of large oil & gas plants / EPC projects.
