Job summary

RIKAS Hospitality Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced sommelier to elevate our wine program in a fine-dining environment. You will engage guests with expert recommendations and deliver confident, polished wine service.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of international wines and food pairings, UAE experience is a plus, and WSET certification is highly preferred. You will train staff and help drive wine sales while maintaining service excellence. This is a full-time on-site role.

• Previous experience as sommelier in high-end/fine-dining restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of international wines, regions and pairings.
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert wine recommendations based on guest preferences and menu.

• Assist in wine menu, inventory and cellar organization.
• Ensure proper storage and serving temperatures.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sommelier to join our team at RIKAS Group.

The ideal candidate will have strong wine knowledge, experience within high-end restaurants, and the confidence to engage with guests and create an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:.

• Provide expert wine recommendations based on guest preferences and menu selections.
• Guide guests through the wine list and suggest suitable food and wine pairings.
• Deliver professional wine presentation and service.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of the wine list, regions, grape varieties and vintages.
• Support the management of wine menu, inventory, stock levels and cellar organization.
• Ensure wines are stored and served at the appropriate temperature and according to service standards.
• Assist with wine training and development of the restaurant team.
• Build relationships with guests and contribute to increasing wine sales through knowledgeable and personalized recommendations

What We're Looking For:.

• Previous experience as a Sommelier in a high-end or fine-dining restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of international wines, regions and food pairings.
• Recognized wine certification such as WSET is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.
• Confident, professional and well-presented.
• Strong sales ability without compromising the guest experience.
• UAE experience is an advantage
