Job summary

Jing Hau in Dubai is seeking a committed Sommelier to deliver expert wine service and thoughtful pairings for guests. You will need three years in hospitality, with strong wine knowledge and the ability to suggest perfect pairings for the menu, all while maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor.

International sommelier certification is preferred but not essential; health insurance and paid vacation are among the benefits. Only candidates able to work in Dubai will be considered.

We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing wine service and pairing suggestions to our guests. You must have a comprehensive understanding of wines and related beverages, as well as excellent customer service skills.

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of three years' experience working in the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-end restaurant. You must possess an advanced knowledge of different styles of wines and be able to recommend appropriate pairings with dishes on the menu. An international sommelier certification or similar qualification is preferred but not essential.

You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to confidently interact with customers while maintaining a professional attitude at all times. A friendly and courteous demeanour will ensure that customers enjoy their experience at our establishment.
