Solutions Engineer - Observability & Demos

Job summary

Dynatrace is seeking a Solution Engineer in Dubai to bolster the sales engine with expert technical support, demos, PoCs, and cross-team collaboration. You will be the Dynatrace expert in Advanced Observability and be responsible for translating technical value into business outcomes for customers.

The role requires 3–5 years in observability or APM, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience required.
• 3 years of experience within the observability space.
• Experience selling to enterprise customers in South Africa and Dubai.
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (Java, .NET, PHP, Go, Node.js).
• Knowledge of OS (Windows, Linux).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containers/Kubernetes/OpenShift, Serverless, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize Dynatrace’s product offerings during international trade shows and at key customer account meetings to promote new and expanded business.
• Partner with sales representatives to identify new sales opportunities as well as incremental sales opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in PoC creation and cloud architecture discussions, leading the technical solution evaluation for multiple POCs.
• Present Dynatrace’s vision to customers’ C-suite executives.
• Provide technical guidance in the Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Solution Proposal stages of the sales cycle.
• Present on-stage demonstrations providing insight during key marketing events at Dynatrace or partner booths.
• Gather, qualify and feed back customer insights to Product Management to improve market share.
• Collaborate with partners and act as technical point of contact for their teams.
• Position might be filled at a higher level based on candidate experience.
