Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. seeks an Observability Solutions Engineer in Dubai to support pre-sales for Splunk observability. You will align with sales, deliver demos, and map client IT challenges to product capabilities across hybrid multi-cloud environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with modern stacks (Kubernetes, Docker, Python/Go) and PoV engagements. Travel and onsite customer work may be involved, based in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or solution engineering in Enterprise software, IT Ops, or cybersecurity.
• Experience delivering product demonstrations in person, via webinars, or at events.
• Experience with Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar APM stacks alongside data platforms.
• Experience with PoVs and observability tooling for application performance and hybrid monitoring.
• Knowledge of modern app architecture including Kubernetes, Docker, or serverless tech; familiarity with digital experience monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive client and partner relationships.
• Collaborate with account teams to align with sales strategies and support through POVs, demos, integrations, and issue resolution.
• Engage with customers to map IT challenges to Splunk observability product capabilities.
• Demonstrate Splunk observability products onsite, via webinars, and at field events.
• Apply structured, analytical approaches to overcome sales obstacles and contribute to a growing customer base.
