We’re looking for an Observability Engineer to join a growing technology team building and operating advanced AI-powered applications in Dubai.
The role sits across SRE, platform engineering and observability, with a focus on giving engineering teams genuine visibility into how complex production systems are behaving.
You’ll help build the monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting capabilities needed to operate reliable production applications and infrastructure.
Design and improve monitoring and observability across production systems
Build dashboards, alerts and operational tooling
Improve application and infrastructure logging
Implement metrics and distributed tracing
Help engineering teams identify performance and reliability problems
Support incident investigation and root-cause analysis
Define meaningful SLIs, SLOs and alerts
Automate repetitive operational processes
Work closely with DevOps, platform and software engineering teams
Experience with technologies such as:
Prometheus
Grafana
OpenTelemetry
Loki and/or similar logging platforms
Kubernetes
Cloud infrastructure
Monitoring and alerting
Distributed systems
CI/CD and production operations
Experience with platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor or Application Insights would also be useful.
More importantly, we’re looking for someone who is naturally inquisitive and enjoys getting underneath complex technical problems rather than simply responding to alerts.
This is a great opportunity to join an engineering environment where observability is treated as a core part of the platform rather than an afterthought.
