Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a Solar Sales Engineer to develop opportunities for solar and hybrid power solutions in the UAE. You will provide technical and commercial guidance, translate customer requirements into effective solutions, and manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle.

The role requires established solar industry sales experience in the UAE and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, along with a mechanical or electrical engineering degree and a UAE

Qualifications

A valid UAE driving licence.
At least five years of UAE solar systems integration sales experience.
Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

Develop sales opportunities for solar and hybrid power solutions in the UAE.
Assess customer requirements and support solar system integration proposals.
Conduct regular customer and site visits to understand business needs and build relationships.
Manage sales opportunities from inquiry to proposal, negotiation and closure.
Aim to achieve sales targets while ensuring sustainable business.
Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and sales records.
Monitor market and competitor activity and share insights with sales leadership.
Participate in product and sales training to stay technically and commercially current.
