Job summary

PeopleStrong Dubai is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee interior fit-out activities on site. You will ensure work is performed safely, to specifications, and in line with approved drawings and schedules.

You will allocate tasks to foremen, monitor progress, report delays, coordinate with subcontractors, maintain quality, and prepare daily progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities including joinery installation and finishing works
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and method statements
• Allocate tasks to foremen and labor teams
• Monitor daily productivity and progress of site works
• Ensure work is completed according to the project schedule
• Report delays, issues, and manpower requirements to Site Engineer
• Ensure workmanship meets required quality standards
• Check installations against approved drawings and specifications
• Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Coordinate with subcontractors, site engineers, and project team
• Follow up on instructions from site management and consultants
• Ensure smooth workflow between different trades on site
• Monitor proper handling and usage of materials on site
• Ensure materials are used as per approved specifications
• Report shortages or damaged materials immediately
• Enforce site safety rules and PPE compliance
• Conduct toolbox talks when required
• Report unsafe acts or conditions on site
• Prepare daily site reports and progress updates
• Maintain records of manpower, work done, and site issues
• Assist in snagging and de-snagging activities
