Job summary

Tanqeeb invites applications for a Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site activities for fit-out, interior and civil works in Dubai. You will read and interpret architectural, interior, civil and shop drawings and ensure proper on-site execution while coordinating with subcontractors, workers and suppliers.

• Experience as Site Supervisor in fit-out, interior and civil works.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and civil construction activities.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, civil and shop drawings.
• Good understanding of construction materials, methods and site execution.
• Ability to supervise multiple trades and coordinate subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities for fit-out, interior and civil works.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise carpentry, joinery, gypsum, ceilings, flooring, painting and partitions.
• Read and interpret drawings and ensure proper on-site execution.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, workers, suppliers and site teams.
• Monitor progress, quality and site productivity; report to Project Engineer/Manager.
• Ensure materials meet approved specs and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve site-related technical and coordination issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections for workmanship and compliance.
• Coordinate with other trades to avoid clashes, delays and rework.
• Maintain daily progress, material requirements, manpower and status records.
• Maintain a safe, organized and professional site.

Job description

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities for fit-out, interior, and civil works.

• Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

• Coordinate and supervise carpentry, joinery, gypsum, ceiling, flooring, painting, partition, civil, and other interior works.

• Read and interpret architectural, interior, civil, and shop drawings and ensure proper execution on site.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, workers, suppliers, and other site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Monitor work progress, quality, and site productivity and report updates to the Project Engineer/Project Manager.

• Ensure materials delivered to site are as per approved specifications and required quality standards.

• Identify and resolve site-related technical and coordination issues in consultation with the project team.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure proper workmanship and compliance with project requirements.

• Coordinate with other trades to avoid site clashes, delays, and rework.

• Maintain proper site records, including daily progress, material requirements, manpower, and work status.

• Ensure the site is maintained in a safe, organized, and professional manner.

• Ensure work is completed within the agreed project schedule and required quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong practical knowledge of interior fit-out and civil construction activities.

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and site execution.

• Ability to supervise and coordinate subcontractors, workers, and multiple trades.

• Good understanding of quality control, measurements, and finishing standards.

• Strong problem-solving and site coordination skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities simultaneously.

• Good command of English is preferred.
