Job summary

Azizi Developments seeks an experienced on-site supervisor to lead interior fit-out projects in Dubai. You will supervise daily activities, inspect workmanship, coordinate with carpenters, subcontractors, and site management to ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in interior fit-out or joinery installation.
• UAE/GCC experience in fit-out projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of site safety practices and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities related to interior fit-out, joinery, and installation works.
• Ensure that site activities follow approved shop drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with factory production for timely delivery of materials to site.
• Monitor installations including partitions, ceilings, wall panels, doors, cabinetry, wardrobes, and finishes.
• Allocate tasks to site workers, carpenters, installers and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and ensure completion within the approved schedule and deadlines.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, QA/QC, and others to resolve site issues.
• Inspect completed works for compliance with drawings, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions to avoid delays and rework.
• Ensure materials are stored and handled properly to minimize wastage and damage.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental requirements at the project site.
• Prepare daily progress reports and escalate delays or issues to management.
• Attend coordination meetings and support inspections, snagging, and handover activities.
• Ensure workers comply with company policies and project procedures.

• Relevant UAE or GCC experience is preferred, particularly in fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, installation methods, shop drawings, and finishing works.
• Experience supervising carpenters, installers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of site safety practices and quality control procedures.
• Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and work under tight deadlines.
