Job summary

al-majid is seeking a Site Supervisor – Interior Fit-Out to oversee daily interior fit-out activities and manage manpower on site in Dubai. You will ensure completion to drawings and specifications while coordinating with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.

The role requires 5–8 years of interior fit-out supervision experience, strong coordination skills, and a focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certification in Civil Engineering, Construction, Interior Fit-Out, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in interior fit-out projects.
• UAE/GCC experience in commercial, hospitality, retail, residential, or office fit-out projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily interior fit-out activities including partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, joinery, carpentry, and finishing works.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed according to project schedules.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, technicians, and site workers.
• Ensure all works are executed as per approved shop drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and technical instructions.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and other teams for smooth project execution.
• Check materials delivered to site and ensure proper handling, storage, and usage.
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report progress, issues, and delays.
• Ensure proper manpower allocation and productivity at site.
• Maintain daily site reports, work progress updates, and material records.
• Coordinate with MEP teams and other trades to avoid clashes and delays.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and promote safe working practices.
• Assist in snagging, rectification works, and project handover activities.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure site organization.
• Report technical issues, material shortages, and site challenges to the project team.
