Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction, or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in the fit-out industry is mandatory.
• Proven experience supervising site labour and fit-out activities.
• Strong knowledge of site operations, installation methods, quality requirements, and HSE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities and ensure works progress per plans.
• Ensure works follow HSE, quality, and safety standards.
• Allocate tasks to labour force per Line Manager.
• Monitor setting-out and ensure layouts are accurate.
• Maintain and update the HSE Blue Book.
• Coordinate with Stores for receipt and distribution of materials.
• Maintain labour attendance, overtime records.
• Report daily site progress and issues to the Line Manager.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and stored.
• Guide labourers on installation methods and minimize wastage.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor – Fit‑Out to oversee daily site activities and ensure projects are executed in accordance with company requirements, approved quality standards, and HSE procedures.

The successful candidate will supervise site labour, coordinate resources and materials, monitor productivity, and ensure fit‑out works are completed safely, accurately, and to the required specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities and ensure project works progress according to approved plans and company requirements.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with HSE, quality, and safety standards.
• Follow site rules, regulations, and approved work procedures.
• Maintain and regularly update the HSE Blue Book for verification by the HSE team.
• Follow the daily work plan and allocate tasks to the labour force as instructed by the Line Manager.
• Monitor setting‑out activities and ensure layouts and installations are carried out accurately.
• Identify site discrepancies and coordinate with the Line Manager for timely resolution.
• Maintain labour output records to monitor workforce productivity and performance.
• Conduct daily roll calls and maintain accurate labour attendance and overtime records.
• Identify upcoming resource requirements and inform the Line Manager in advance to ensure smooth project execution.
• Report daily site progress, challenges, delays, and issues to the Line Manager.
• Coordinate with the Stores Department for the receipt, handling, and distribution of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of materials received at and returned from the site.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and plant are properly maintained and stored, and report any damage to the Stores Department.
• Handle internal and external client concerns professionally and elevate issues where required.
• Coordinate effectively with internal departments and external subcontractors.
• Maintain regular communication with the Line Manager regarding site progress, resource requirements, and operational issues.
• Ensure labourers are trained and briefed on the latest approved installation methods and application techniques.
• Supervise workmanship to ensure materials and installations comply with approved specifications and quality requirements.
• Escalate any special technical or installation requirements to the Line Manager.
• Guide labourers on minimizing material wastage and the proper use and handling of tools and equipment.
• Support the project team in achieving zero-snags at project completion.

Requirements
