Job summary

9E Global is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with 5-7 years of construction supervision experience in the UAE. You will read contract documents, supervise site activities, ensure QA/QC, and maintain records while upholding HSE standards.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, and the candidate will act as an ambassador for the company on site, coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 5-7 years of experience in construction supervision with a consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand contract documents, drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures.
• Ensure contractor compliance with contract standards via observation, measurements, and testing; track quality assurance progress.
• Maintain records of contractor manpower and equipment daily resources.
• Undertake site supervision and inspections as directed by the Senior Site Engineer.
• Document contractor activities including personnel, equipment, locations, work, and methods used.
• Report material deliveries and follow team leader instructions.
• Implement site quality control measures and procedures.
• Apply quality controls and procedures of the site.
• Prepare site measurements and surveying checks for the leader.
• Monitor construction work for compliance with quality standards and codes through inspections.
