Job summary
9E Global Engineering Consultants LLC is seeking a seasoned Project Engineer to oversee structural design and site supervision on diverse projects in the UAE. You will review shop drawings, provide technical support during installation, and ensure compliance with international codes.
The role requires 12–15 years in engineering consultancy with hands-on supervision, strong knowledge of Etabs, Staad Pro, IDEA StatiCa, and SAP, and the ability to lead a small team.
Qualifications
- 12–15 years' experience in engineering consultancy firms with site supervision.
Responsibilities
- Review structural shop drawings, calculations and method statements.
- Conduct site visits to monitor steel erection and resolve technical issues.
- Provide technical support during fabrication and installation phases.
- Identify and resolve design discrepancies or structural challenges.
- Review RFIs and provide responses.
- Ensure compliance with international codes, authority standards and project specifications.
- Monitor construction works to ensure design intent meets minimum requirements.
- Attend weekly site progress meetings.
- Collaborate with other disciplines regarding coordination issues.
- Mentor and supervise engineers and technicians.
