Job summary

Qualifications

8+ years in construction supervision in a consultancy.
Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Inspect steel fabrication and erection per drawings, specs and codes.
Review welding, bolting, and steel connections per standards.
Prepare inspection reports and follow up on corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Monitor materials for compliance with contract requirements.
Inspect works on site to ensure conformance with drawings and good engineering practice.
Witness onsite testing as required by contract specifications or ITPs.
Conduct material verification and traceability checks for steel components.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to maintain workflow and timely completion.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and document non-conformities.
Ensure all steel works meet safety, QA/QC, and environmental guidelines.
