Job summary

9E Global Engineering Consultants LLC is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural engineer to lead site supervision and quality control on our steel construction projects in the UAE. You will ensure works conform to contract drawings, specs, and applicable standards while coordinating with design and site teams.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 8 years of consultancy-based supervision experience.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of experience in construction supervision in a consultancy.

Responsibilities

Monitor materials and inspect works on site for compliance with contract drawings and specifications.
Inspect steel fabrication and erection: columns, beams, arches, purlins, trusses, bracings.
Review welding, bolting, and steel connections for workmanship and standards.
Witness onsite testing per contract, ITT/approved ITP as required.
Prepare inspection reports, document non-conformities, and follow corrective actions.
Ensure steel works comply with safety, environmental requirements, and project guidelines.
Coordinate with contractors and teams to ensure timely completion.
Support QA/QC team with technical recommendations.
Participate in meetings and provide progress updates.
Review contractor method statements and welding procedures for compliance.
Prepare site measurements and surveying checks as needed by client/SteLeads.
