Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an experienced Site Engineer – Finishing to join a luxury villa project in Abu Dhabi. You will supervise finishing works on site, coordinate across subcontractors, MEP, QA/QC, and ensure work aligns with drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, at least 5 years of site experience in high-end residential projects, strong coordination and communication skills, and the ability to read architectural, structural and MEP drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of site experience.
• Experience finishing villas or high-end residential projects.
• Ability to read architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Strong communication and site coordination skills.
• Available to join immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all finishing works on site.
• Manage blockwork, plastering, screed, tiling, marble, flooring, painting, ceilings, joinery, doors, and finishes.
• Ensure works align with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, MEP, QA/QC, and site teams.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure activities meet project schedule.
• Review drawings and coordinate technical requirements with Technical Office.
• Inspect completed works and coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and approvals.
• Identify site issues, resolve problems, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare daily reports and monitor manpower, materials and site productivity.
• Ensure coordination between finishing activities and MEP services.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and housekeeping.
