Job summary

Algedra in Dubai is seeking a Site Civil Engineer with minimum 3 years of experience in residential villa construction, capable of mobilization through handover, reading drawings, supervising subcontractors, coordinating with consultants and clients, QA/QC, safety, and UAE standards compliance.

The role requires coordination with stakeholders and delivering site progress reports while ensuring quality, safety and regulatory adherence on villa projects in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Site Civil Engineer.
• Experience in residential villa construction from mobilization to handover.
• Ability to supervise subcontractors and site workers.
• Ability to read architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority requirements.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Capable of monitoring site progress, QA/QC, safety, and preparing basic site reports.
• UAE driving license required.
• UAE/GCC villa construction experience preferred.
• Candidates with villa project mobilization to completion and handover experience preferred.

Job description

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Site Civil Engineer in construction.
• Proven experience in residential villa construction, preferably handling projects from mobilization and site preparation through to final handover.
• Strong knowledge of the complete construction sequence, including:
• Ability to supervise subcontractors and site workers and ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards, regulations and authority requirements.
• Experience in coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Capable of monitoring site progress, quality, manpower and materials and preparing basic site reports.
• Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures, safety requirements and construction practices.
• Valid UAE Driving License is required.
• UAE/GCC villa construction experience is preferred.
• Candidates who can demonstrate experience managing a villa project from mobilization and site preparation to completion and handover will be highly preferred.
