Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an experienced QA/QC Section Head to lead quality assurance and control on villa construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

You will oversee QA/QC engineers, review inspection requests, manage NCRs, and ensure compliance with drawings, method statements, and standards. Strong knowledge of civil, architectural, structural and finishing works is essential.

Candidates should have 8–12+ years in building construction with villa/high-end residential experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8–12+ years of QA/QC experience in building construction.
• Strong experience in villa, luxury residential, or high-end residential projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil, architectural, structural, and finishing works.
• Good knowledge of ITPs, method statements, MIRs, IRs, NCRs, and quality management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA/QC activities for villa construction works.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, and applicable standards.
• Supervise QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors and coordinate daily inspection activities.
• Review and approve Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), and quality documentation.
• Monitor site activities and ensure workmanship meets required quality standards.
• Manage NCRs, observations, corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams on quality-related matters.
• Conduct inspections, quality audits, and site quality walks.
• Ensure proper preparation and maintenance of project quality records and handover documentation.
