Job summary

Innovo Group in Dubai seeks a Site Supervisor to manage on-site installation and execution of joinery and fitout works, ensuring quality, safety and adherence to schedules.

The role requires reading drawings and specifications, coordinating with foremen and subcontractors, inspecting workmanship, and maintaining progress reports for the Project Manager. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or interior design with 3–5 years of site experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
• 3–5 years of site experience in joinery, fitout, or construction.
• Knowledge of joinery installation methods, materials, finishing standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Physically fit and willing to work on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Site Execution and on-site supervision of joinery and fitout works according to drawings.
• Inspect completed works and address defects and snags to meet specs.
• Monitor progress against schedule and report delays with recovery plans.
• Enforce health and safety regulations; lead toolbox talks.
• Coordinate with MEP, civil, and subcontractors to resolve clashes.

Key Accountabilities

• Site Execution
• Supervise the installation of joinery and fitout works on sitein accordance withapproved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate withforemenand subcontractors to manage daily site activities.
• Quality Control
• Inspect completed works against specifications;identifyand rectify defects and snags.
• Ensure materials delivered to site meet quality requirements.
• Progress Monitoring
• Track site progress against the project schedule; report delays and propose recovery plans.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for the Project Manager.
• Health & Safety
• Enforce health and safety regulations on site; conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Report incidents and near-misses promptly.
• Coordination
• Coordinate with other trades (MEP, civil, etc.) to ensure smooth workflow and resolve conflicts.
• Manage material requests and deliveries to site.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design

Minimum 3-5 years of site experience in the joinery, fitout, or construction industry

Knowledge of joinery installation methods, materials, and finishing standards

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Good communicationand coordination skills

Physically fit and willing to work on construction sites
