Job summary

Client of Careers International is seeking an experienced Site Engineer with strong experience in Construction and Interior Fit-Out projects in Dubai. The candidate will supervise site activities, coordinate with project teams and subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with approved drawings, quality standards, and project timelines.

Responsibilities include supervising daily site activities, coordinating with Project Managers, Consultants, Subcontractors, and suppliers; reviewing drawings;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer.
• Mandatory experience in Construction & Interior Fit-Out projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and fit-out drawings.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer with strong experience in Construction and Interior Fit-Out projects The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities coordinating with project teams and subcontractors and ensuring work is completed according to approved drawings quality standards and project timelines

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction and fit-out site activities
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings specifications and project requirements
• Coordinate with Project Managers Consultants Subcontractors Suppliers and site teams
• Review architectural and construction drawings and identify site requirements
• Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed within the planned schedule
• Coordinate manpower materials and equipment requirements at the site
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and workmanship standards
• Ensure compliance with health safety and site regulations
• Identify site-related issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure proper utilization of materials
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates to the management team
• Assist during project inspections snagging and final handover

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer.
• Mandatory experience in Construction & Interior Fit-Out projects.
• Strong knowledge of site execution, construction methods, and fit-out works.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and fit-out drawings.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Good knowledge of site quality and safety requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage.
• Experience handling commercial, residential, or interior fit-out projects is preferred.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE and able to join immediately or within a short notice period are preferred.
