Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking a Site Engineer to lead on-site construction and interior fit-out projects in Dubai. You will ensure design intent is executed accurately, supervise subcontractors, and maintain strict quality standards from first fix through handover.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of total experience, including 2–3 years in interior fit-out, with proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, plus MEP coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 6–8 years total construction experience, with 2–3 years in interior fit-out.
• Minimum 2 completed medium-scale fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of finishes, ceilings, partitions, flooring, joinery, and MEP coordination.
• Able to read and coordinate architectural, ID, structural & MEP drawings.

• Liaise closely with the Project Manager and Design Team to ensure design intent is executed accurately
• Supervise subcontractors, run inspections, and control materials on site
• Prepare RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, method statements, snagging lists, variations, and as-built documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
• 6–8 years' total experience, including 2–3 years in interior fit-out
• Minimum 2 completed medium-scale fit-out projects
• Strong technical knowledge of finishes, ceilings, partitions, flooring, joinery, and MEP coordination
• Confident reading and coordinating architectural, ID, structural, and MEP drawings
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; MS Project/Primavera a plus
• Strong leadership and team management ability
• Comfortable running inspections and closing out technical comments
• Working knowledge of local authority and Civil Defence requirements where relevant
