Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Site Engineer – Finishing to lead finishing works on a luxury villa project. You will supervise on-site activities, review drawings, and ensure workmanship meets specifications.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, MEP, QA/QC, monitor progress, and prepare daily reports. The role requires strong communication, site coordination, and a solid background in high-end residential finishes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of site experience.
• Strong finishing works experience for villas/high-end projects and ability to read drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise finishing works on site and coordinate all activities.
• Manage blockwork, plastering, screed, tiling, marble, flooring, painting, ceilings, joinery, doors and finishes.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specs, method statements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, MEP, QA/QC and other site teams.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure activities meet the project schedule.
• Review drawings and coordinate technical requirements with the Technical Office.
• Inspect works and coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and approvals.
• Identify site issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare daily reports and monitor manpower, materials and productivity.
• Maintain coordination between finishing activities and MEP services.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.

Requirements

• Strong experience in finishing works for villas, luxury residential, or high-end projects.
• Good knowledge of architectural finishes and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple site activities.
• Strong communication and site coordination skills.
