Job summary

Ayat Group is seeking an experienced Site Architect – Finishes (Interior Fitout Works) to oversee the execution of interior fit-out and finishing works on site.

The successful candidate will ensure all architectural finishes are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE standards, coordinating with structural and MEP interfaces and managing multiple projects with tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in architectural finishing and interior fit-out works.
• Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, or high-end interior projects.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and architectural finishing practices.
• Membership in relevant professional bodies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all interior finishing fit-out and architectural works on site.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and finishing details prior to execution; identify and raise discrepancies.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality of finishes.
• Coordinate mock-ups and sample approvals for interior finishes.
• Coordinate architectural interfaces with structural and MEP works.
• Provide site progress reports on a regular basis, as per project requirements.
• Manage the execution timeline of the project and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all interior finishing fit-out and architectural works on site.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and finishing details prior to execution; identify and raise discrepancies between architectural design and MEP/structural works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality of finishes.
• Resolve technical and design-related issues encountered during construction.
• Verify site measurements prior to fabrication and installation.
• Ensure approved materials are used and installed in accordance with specifications.
• Coordinate mock‑ups and sample approvals for interior finishes.
• Coordinate architectural interfaces with structural and MEP works.
• Participate in material inspections.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Manage the execution timeline of the project and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ensure subcontractors and contractors align with the project and construction programme.
• Provide site progress reports on a regular basis, as per project requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.

Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in architectural finishing and interior fit‑out works.

Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, or high‑end interior projects.
