Desert group investment LLC in Dubai is seeking a hands-on Landscape Supervisor to lead the landscape and irrigation activities across our sites. You will supervise a team, ensure quality, meet contractual obligations, and drive daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
You will provide technical guidance on plant choices, drawings interpretation, pest management in line with UAE laws, and coordinate with HR on attendance and safety. Strong communication and MS-Office skills are essential.
Build and maintain client relationships, creating a positive impression and demonstrating a proactive attitude
To monitor work progress and performance, taking prompt action when needed and reporting any irregularities or problems to the landscape manager
Supervise the overall landscape & irrigation activities of the site, attend to the complaints and rectifications.
Ensure the team is given daily, weekly and monthly targets and are being productive at site
Ensure sites are visited regularly, work / operational schedules are updated, and the quality of sites is maintained as per contractual obligations
Provide technical guidance and assistance to clients and teams concerning plant choices, sourcing, work methods, the use of equipment and techniques and the analysis of results
Posses in depth knowledge of plant physiology, soil science and plant nutrition
Ensure all irrigation drawings are of high standard and meet project deadlines
Ensure site irrigation systems are installed as per the design and specifications
Ensure that Pest & Disease control is carried out in accordance with UAE laws and manufacturer's instructions
Ensure that machinery and equipment are in good operational condition and any repairs or changes to be intimated at the same time
Assist with the preparation of BOQs as required
Assist with procuring good quality materials to maintain highest possible standards
Manage any employee relations issues, utilizing support from HR, within the parameters of company policies
Monitor time and attendance and the collation and processing of timesheets for payroll
Ensure that all staff wear appropriate uniforms, attend work regularly on sites and adhere to Health & Safety standards
To implement the company’s Health & Safety policy across all sites completion of Accident and near miss reports.
Support operational teams in a hands‑on support function as and when required
Hold a degree in agriculture engineering from a recognized university
Minimum 3 years’ experience in landscape construction and maintenance
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Bold personality, strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills preferred
Computer literate and good understanding of MS- Office
Must be able to demonstrate a high level of trust and confidentiality
