Job summary

Gardinia Contracting, the site engineering arm of Azizi Developments, seeks a Site Engineer to supervise daily civil works across residential and high-rise projects in Dubai. • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years of site experience, with ≥3 years in the UAE.
• Hands-on experience in residential and high-rise tower construction.
• Background with main contracting firms in the UAE.
• Knowledge of structural/finishing works, sequencing, and site coordination.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and consultant inspections.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities including excavation, shoring, foundations, concrete, blockwork, plastering.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specs, and method statements.
• Plan manpower, materials, and equipment with foremen and subcontractors.
• Check setting out, levels, formwork, reinforcement before pours; raise IRs on time.
• Coordinate with consultant for inspections and material approvals.
• Monitor workmanship quality and close NCRs and snag items.
• Enforce HSE rules on site.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and site diaries.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid clashes.
• Assist with quantity checks and subcontractor measurements.

As a Site Engineer, you will will supervise and coordinate daily civil works on residential and high‑rise tower projects, making sure all activities follow approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role works closely with foremen, subcontractors, and the Project Engineer to keep site progress on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site activities, including excavation, shoring, foundations, concrete, blockwork, plastering, and finishing works.
• Make sure work is carried out according to approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Plan and allocate daily manpower, materials, and equipment in coordination with foremen and subcontractors.
• Check setting out, levels, formwork, and reinforcement before concrete pours, and raise inspection requests (IRs) on time.
• Coordinate with the consultant for inspections, material approvals, and resolving site issues.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and follow up on closing NCRs and snag items.
• Enforce HSE rules on site and make sure safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, site diaries, and material requirement lists.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid clashes and make sure openings, sleeves, and embedded services are in place.
• Help with quantity checks and subcontractor work measurements.

Requirements:
