Job summary

Gardinia Contracting, the site engineering arm of Azizi Developments, seeks a Site Engineer to supervise daily civil works across residential and high-rise projects in Dubai. You will ensure adherence to drawings, specs, and safety standards while coordinating with foremen, subcontractors, and the Project Engineer to maintain schedule.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years of site experience, with ≥3 years in the UAE.
• Hands-on experience in residential and high-rise tower construction.
• Background with main contracting firms in the UAE.
• Knowledge of structural/finishing works, sequencing, and site coordination.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and consultant inspections.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities including excavation, shoring, foundations, concrete, blockwork, plastering.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specs, and method statements.
• Plan manpower, materials, and equipment with foremen and subcontractors.
• Check setting out, levels, formwork, reinforcement before pours; raise IRs on time.
• Coordinate with consultant for inspections and material approvals.
• Monitor workmanship quality and close NCRs and snag items.
• Enforce HSE rules on site.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and site diaries.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid clashes.
• Assist with quantity checks and subcontractor measurements.
