Job summary

White Space Recruitment Ltd is seeking a technically strong Site Architect to oversee on-site delivery of luxury residential projects in Dubai. You will safeguard design intent, ensure build quality, and resolve technical issues as construction progresses.

Collaborating with the Interior Architect and Project Manager, you will oversee design quality across structure, envelope, interiors, finishes and bespoke elements on a flagship project.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Architect.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience delivering luxury residential projects on site.
• Strong technical knowledge and detailing capability across architecture and interiors.
• Confident reviewing shop drawings, materials and bespoke fabrications.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing and quality control.
• Experience working in the UAE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard design intent across architecture and interiors throughout construction.
• Review and approve shop drawings, mock-ups, material submissions and finish samples.
• Resolve detailing and constructability issues while maintaining design integrity.
• Ensure interfaces between architectural and interior elements are coordinated.
• Carry out regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, detailing and installation quality.
• Oversee execution of high-end finishes including stone, timber, bespoke joinery, glazing, metalwork and fixed furniture.
• Manage snagging, quality control and defect resolution.
• Ensure mock-ups and sample areas meet agreed standards prior to full implementation.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and specialist suppliers.
• Liaise with the Interior Architect to clarify intent and manage site-driven adjustments.
• Attend site meetings, technical workshops and inspections.
• Support authority inspections and compliance where required.
• Support the preparation and issue of coordinated construction drawings.
• Respond to RFIs and site queries in a timely and solution-focused manner.
• Maintain site records, reports and quality documentation through to handover.

We are seeking a technically strong and detail-driven Site Architect to oversee on-site delivery of both architectural and interior works on a flagship residential project. The role is focused on protecting design intent, ensuring build quality, and resolving technical issues as construction progresses.

Working closely with the office-based Interior Architect and the Project Manager, the Site Architect acts as the on-site custodian of design quality across structure, envelope, interiors, finishes and bespoke elements. This role requires confidence on site, a refined eye for detail, and a deep understanding of premium residential construction.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Quality Control

• Safeguard design intent across both architecture and interiors throughout construction.
• Review and approve shop drawings, mock-ups, material submissions and finish samples.
• Resolve detailing and constructability issues while maintaining design integrity.
• Ensure interfaces between architectural and interior elements are fully coordinated.

On-Site Execution

• Carry out regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, detailing and installation quality.
