Job summary

J10 Consulting seeks a Senior Site Architect for a high-profile Abu Dhabi project portfolio. Immediate joining and direct hire are offered by a multinational design and supervision consultancy client, requiring strong UAE-based supervision experience on large-scale developments.

The candidate will lead architectural design reviews, supervise production through all design stages, and coordinate across design, delivery and project teams to ensure successful delivery within budget and standards.

• Experience in a recognised design and engineering consultancy.

Our Multi National Design and Supervision Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Senior Site Architect to join their team in Abu Dhabi to work on high profile new branded residential projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Senior Site Architect on similar projects in the UAE. Candidates must have worked for a recognised architectural and design consultancy client in a supervision role as site architect. This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed by our client.

Responsibilities

• Manage Scope & Schedule, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements and design standards.
• Support integration of design packages across disciplines.
• Oversee Inspections and QA QC aspects of project delivery
• Deliver Architecture mandate as part of the Project Management team, including stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with Design Group, Delivery team, and Project team on design delivery from concept to completion.
• Deliver architectural designs for diverse typologies: residential, mixed-use, commercial, public, healthcare, educational, civic, cultural, etc.
• Prepare, develop, and edit drawings and presentations effectively.
• Supervise production from visualization through pre-concept, concept, developed, and detailed design stages.
• Lead qualitative architectural design reviews, offering analysis, comments, and recommendations
• Draft comprehensive architectural documentation from concept through detailed design.
• Ensure Design and Asset Brief compliance, maintaining accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and review architectural asset briefs, manuals, and standard design documents.
• Oversee preparation of materials schedules, sample boards, FF&E schedules, sourcing, and mock-ups.
• Solve design issues creatively while adhering to budget and design approach.
• Communicate and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering complex, high-profile projects.
• Provide strategic guidance on technical design standards and philosophy.
• Monitor technical compliance throughout design and construction phases.
• Conduct design reviews and recommend solutions aligned with business & project goals

Senior Site Architect Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years overall experience.
• Strong proficiency in Revit
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Previous experience of working in a recognised Design and Engineering Consultancy.
• Strong Site based experience working on large scale, high profile residential, hospitality or mixed use projects in the UAE is essential
• Experience of closing out projects is essential
