Our Multi National Design and Supervision Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Senior Site Architect to join their team in Abu Dhabi to work on high profile new branded residential projects.

Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Senior Site Architect on similar projects in the UAE. Candidates must have worked for a recognised architectural and design consultancy client in a supervision role as site architect. This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire permanent opportunity employed by our client.

Responsibilities

• Manage Scope, Schedule ensuring alignment with project objectives
• Ensure compliance with project requirements and design standards
• Support integration of design packages across disciplines
• Oversee inspections and QA/QC aspects of project delivery
• Deliver architecture mandate as part of the project management team including stakeholder engagement
• Collaborate with design group delivery team and project team on design delivery from concept to completion
• Deliver architectural designs for diverse typologies residential, mixed-use, commercial, public, healthcare, educational, civic, cultural, etc.
• Prepare, develop and edit drawings and presentations effectively
• Supervise production from visualization through pre-concept, concept developed and detailed design stages
• Lead qualitative architectural design reviews offering analysis, comments and recommendations
• Draft comprehensive architectural documentation from concept through detailed design
• Ensure design and asset brief compliance maintaining accuracy and completeness
• Develop and review architectural asset briefs, manuals and standard design documents
• Oversee preparation of materials schedules, sample boards, FF&E schedules sourcing and mock-ups
• Solve design issues creatively while adhering to budget and design approach
• Communicate and coordinate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering complex high-profile projects
• Provide strategic guidance on technical design standards and philosophy
• Monitor technical compliance throughout design and construction phases
• Conduct design reviews and recommend solutions aligned with business project goals

Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years overall experience
• Strong proficiency in Revit
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Previous experience of working in a recognised Design and Engineering Consultancy
• Strong site-based experience working on large scale, high profile residential, hospitality or mixed use projects in the UAE is essential
• Experience of closing out projects is essential
