Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Advisor - Safety, Health & Environment to lead SHE excellence in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will guide occupational health and safety matters, ensuring alignment with UAE regulations and international best practices while driving continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Safety, Health & Environment advisory or management within construction/roads/infrastructure.
• Experience on road/infrastructure projects including construction, maintenance, operations.
• Knowledge of UAE/GCC OSH regulations and compliance requirements.
• Qualification in SMS, ISO 45001, OSHAS standards; hazard identification and risk assessment capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce SHE requirements across roads and infrastructure construction activities.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with timely corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, Aldar OSHMS, and project-specific SHES requirements.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to promote a positive safety culture.
