Job summary

AECOM in Dubai, United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Advisor - Safety, Health & Environment to champion a culture of safety excellence and environmental stewardship across the organization. You will provide strategic guidance on occupational health and safety matters, ensuring operations align with UAE regulations and international best practices.

Responsibilities include developing and refining SH&E policies, conducting inspections and audits, investigating incidents, delivering safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in safety, health and environment advisory or management roles in corporate, industrial, construction or operational settings.
• Proven expertise conducting safety inspections, audits and incident investigations with documented results and improvements.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC health and safety regulations, standards and compliance requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in analyzing safety data, identifying trends and developing evidence-based improvements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage personnel at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and refine safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and programs.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and assessments to identify hazards and compliance gaps.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and awareness programs across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, environmental standards and company policies.
