Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Advisor to lead Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) programs in Dubai. You will guide management, project teams and site personnel, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and ISO standards while advancing safety performance across roads and infrastructure projects.

This role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience, NEBOSH or equivalent, and strong leadership to develop strategies and mentor staff in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science or related field.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum 10 years of safety, health and environmental experience.
• Experience with roads and infrastructure projects and leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for safety, health and environmental matters.
• Develop and implement safety, health and environmental strategies.
• Lead investigations into accidents and near-misses.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits across projects.
• Ensure compliance with UAE and international standards (ISO 45001/14001).
• Provide technical guidance to management and project teams.
• Mentor junior staff and monitor regulatory changes.
