Job summary

Schlumberger in the UAE seeks a Senior Completion & Well Intervention Engineer to lead well engineering and operations support for completion, workover rigs or rigless activities. You will prepare Completion and Workover Programs and AFEs, and act as a technical advisor on site.

The role involves reviewing equipment, coordinating with Subsurface and Production teams, mentoring trainees, and ensuring compliance with IPM and safety standards. Travel to rigs and sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Senior level Completion & Well Intervention experience.
• Experience supervising Field Engineer Trainees and junior engineers.
• Ability to prepare Completion and Workover Programs and AFEs.
• Knowledge of IPM Standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Completion and Workover Programs and procedures.
• Supervise Field Engineer Trainees and junior engineers.
• Review regulatory requirements for downhole and surface safety equipment.
• Develop completion/workover operations flowcharts and contingencies.
• Coordinate with drilling, slickline, and production teams.
• Monitor progress, costs vs AFE, and NPT trends.
