Job summary

Standard Chartered in the United Arab Emirates seeks an Investment Advisor to support Relationship Managers and clients in achieving investment objectives. You will translate CIO house views into client propositions across funds, bonds, FX, and other products while maintaining risk awareness.

You will lead portfolio reviews, contribute to asset allocation discussions, and collaborate with the WM product team to ensure timely market intelligence and a high-quality client experience.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Financial Markets.
• Approach to Advisory & Financial Planning.
• Understanding of Asset Allocation & Portfolio Construction.
• Product Knowledge – Mutual Funds, Bonds, FX, Alternatives, Insurance, Leverage & Overdraft, Equities, Derivatives, Structured Notes and Cross Currency Lending.
• Communication Skills Expert
• Analytical and Computing Skills

Responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers in meeting client investment objectives and support AUM growth.
• Update frontline and clients on global market outlooks and asset class ideas.
• Collaborate with WM product team to align client requirements with product offerings.
• Lead portfolio reviews and provide risk-aware recommendations to improve diversification.
• Drive wealth advisory activities to grow AUM and product penetration.
• Provide reports/analysis within the management framework.
