Job summary

Standard Chartered in the UAE seeks a senior investment advisor to deliver tailored solutions for GSAC/MENA clients, collaborating with the IA Head of DIFC to drive AuM growth while maintaining strict risk and governance standards. You will assess client portfolios, set risk and return expectations with Relationship Managers, and organize investment seminars to engage clients and prospects.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate / Masters in Finance or CFA is required.
• CFA certification or equivalent is required.
• English and Arabic languages are required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of superior performance while upholding high control standards.
• Provide independent opinion on client portfolios in line with House Views.
• Determine client risk appetite, investment preferences and return expectations with RM.
• Contribute to investment engagement and promote Strategy Views and suitable products.
• Organise and participate in investment seminars for clients and prospects.
• Provide high quality investment advice to clients and RMs and inform on suitable investments.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external laws at global level.
• Contribute to end-to-end delivery of business strategy and sales management.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management to deliver optimal PvB solutions.
