Job summary

SO/ Uptown Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Waiter to lead a section with confidence, delivering refined, personalized service and mentoring junior teammates in a luxury Dubai setting.

You will collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow, maintain impeccable standards, and handle guest requests with empathy and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive waiter experience in upscale dining or hospitality establishments.
• Proven expertise in section management and guest service delivery.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, dining etiquette, and service protocols.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage guests professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior staff members.
• Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant management software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays and service equipment.
