Job summary

Nexus Insurance Brokers in the UAE is seeking a senior Employee Benefits professional to lead business development and client relationship management for corporate accounts. The role focuses on growing the Nexus Employee Benefits and Group Medical portfolio, leveraging an existing transferable book, and building long-term partnerships with multinational, government-related and oil & gas clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5 – 10+ years of experience in Employee Benefits, Group Medical Insurance or corporate insurance broking.
• Strong understanding of the UAE health insurance and Employee Benefits market.
• Practical knowledge of Group Medical and Employee Benefits solution design, placement and renewal.
• An existing, transferable book of corporate Employee Benefits / Group Health business.
• Established relationships and experience working with multinational, government-related and/or oil & gas sector organisations.
• Experience working with a leading regional, international or independent insurance broker.
• Professional insurance qualifications such as CII, ADII or equivalent would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow Nexus corporate EB and Group Medical portfolio.
• Leverage transferable book to generate new opportunities.
• Target multinational, government-related, oil & gas accounts.
• Build long-term relationships with HR leaders and stakeholders.
• Act as strategic relationship manager for assigned clients.
• Conduct client needs assessments and tailor EB solutions.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and service arrangements with insurers.
• Lead renewal cycle including benchmarking and placement.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities within Nexus portfolio.
• Coordinate with insurers and TPAs to resolve claims.
• Stay informed on UAE health insurance market.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and report activity.
• Ensure activities comply with UAE regulations and internal standards.
• Contribute to growth and positioning of Nexus.
