Job summary

Anton Paar UAE based in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Technical Sales Manager – Characterization to lead the Characterization sales unit across the UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar. You will drive opportunities, present solutions for Material Characterization, Mechanical Surface Characterization, Particle Analysis & more, and manage the full customer journey from identification to handover.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific/engineering discipline.
8+ years in technical sales of lab/analytical instrumentation.
GCC market experience is advantageous.
Experience leading/mentoring a technical sales team.
Proven success in business development and key account mgmt.
Experience with technical presentations and product demos.
Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
UAE driving license or ability to obtain one.
Willingness to travel in UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the UAE Characterization sales team.
Develop new business and strengthen relationships across UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar.
Own the customer journey from opportunity to project handover.
Conduct customer visits, presentations and product demos.
Oversee instrument installations and customer training; coordinate with Service.
Prepare quotations and technical/ tender submissions.
Collaborate with sales, applications, service and HQ to deliver integrated solutions.
Maintain sales forecasts, pipelines and customer records.
Provide market feedback to management and attend events.
