Job summary
Our Client in Dubai, UAE seeks a Senior Technical Sales Engineer with a strong electrical engineering background to drive technical sales, manage key accounts, and develop new business in the electrical services sector.
The role requires 4–6 years of UAE market experience, a Bachelor’s in engineering, and a UAE driving license. You will deliver tailored electrical solutions, coordinate with engineering teams, and lead proposals through to closure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering (preference for Electrical Engineering).
- 4–6 years of UAE technical sales experience.
- Experience selling LV switchgear, electrical services, PLC, industrial automation or related electrical solutions.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical systems, services, and solutions.
- Excellent English communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UAE electrical services market.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to generate repeat business.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical assessments to understand project requirements.
- Recommend suitable electrical solutions based on customer needs and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with sales support and engineering teams to prepare technical proposals, quotations, and sales presentations.
- Manage the sales process from initial client engagement through proposal submission and commercial negotiations.
- Address clients’ technical and commercial queries to support successful deal closures.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure a smooth handover from sales to project execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new growth opportunities.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall business development strategy.
