Job summary

Element Search is seeking a Senior Electrical Sales Engineer for a client in the UAE, focusing on the MEP construction sector. The role requires developing business, managing key accounts, and driving sales of electrical products across Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in electrical sales, strong knowledge of cables, switchgear and distribution components, and an established UAE network with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders. UAE driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in electrical sales within MEP construction or electrical trading.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical products, cables, switchgear, circuit breakers and distribution components.
• Established network with UAE MEP contractors, electrical contractors, consultants and project clients.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing new accounts.
• Experience handling project-based sales, tenders, quotations and commercial negotiations.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• UAE driving licence preferred.

About the Role

Element is hiring for a client seeking a commercially driven Senior Electrical Sales Engineer to develop business, manage key accounts and drive sales of electrical products within the UAE market. The ideal candidate will have experience in the MEP construction sector, strong technical knowledge of electrical products and established relationships with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of electrical products, including power cables, wires, switchgear, electrical components and related accessories.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with MEP contractors, electrical contractors, consultants, developers and end users.
• Identify upcoming construction projects, track tenders and generate sales opportunities through proactive market development.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, technical submittals, tenders and commercial proposals.
• Understand client requirements, recommend suitable electrical products and coordinate with technical and procurement teams.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve sales targets and profitability.
• Manage key accounts, maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on leads and outstanding quotations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements to identify opportunities for business growth.
