Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai, UAE seeks a Senior Associate to lead tax advisory and support the Litigation team on tax disputes. You will advise on corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and cross-border structuring, while drafting opinions and client updates.

The role involves coordinating with tax authorities and mentoring junior lawyers. Qualified lawyers with 5–8 years PQE and strong UAE/international tax knowledge are preferred, with English fluency (Arabic an advantage).

Qualifications

• Expertise in UAE and international tax law advisories.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
• English required; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and international tax structuring.
• Support litigation team on tax-related disputes and coordinate with tax authorities.
• Prepare legal opinions and client updates on evolving tax issues.
• Assist with tax aspects of corporate transactions (M&A, reorganizations).
• Monitor UAE and international tax developments and share updates with clients.
