Job description

Your responsibilities:

• Advising (drafting legal opinions) on various tax issues, including taxes in the Middle East countries and other matters of international taxation;
• Settling disputes with tax authorities out of court;
• Handling disputes with tax authorities;
• Speaking at public events on tax matters.

The successful applicant will:

• Be versed in the relevant laws and regulations of the UAE and other GCC states;
• Have a qualification in law confirmed by a reputable institution;
• Have a minimum of two years of legal practice in the UAE;
• Have at least 6 years of experience in the field of tax (preferably in the consulting business);
• Speak English at the upper-intermediate level;
• Have advanced computer skills;
• Have strong self-management skills;
• Have excellent communication and self-presentation skills;
• Have the ability to present his/her ideas clearly both in writing and orally;
• Have analytical mindset.
